IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING OUR CTB60-1820 MESH

Ashworth is committed to providing our customers with high quality products at competitive prices. To refine our product line offering and better support our customers, we have decided to replace the CTB60-48-1820 mesh (.035” spiral wire diameter ) with the CTB60-48-1818 mesh (.048” spiral wire diameter) which operates on the same sprockets.

The larger 18 gauge wire is stronger and yields an increased working strength of 350 lbs./ft of width, which is nearly three times stronger than the CTB60-48-1820. The only visible difference is a slightly larger diameter spiral wire (0.048” vs 0.035”).  

Dimensionally, the belts are nearly identical, both lateral and longitudinal pitch remain the same. The opening size will be reduced by 0.013” and the belt thickness will increase by 0.050”. The CTB60-48-1818 is considered a drop-in replacement and improves the overall belt performance. The price is equivalent between the two products.

The CTB60-48-1820 mesh is scheduled to be discontinued by the end of 2020. Orders for the CTB60-48-1820 will be accepted until current wire inventory is depleted.
